Location. The Westin City Center is located three blocks from the Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center and six blocks from the Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas, Texas. The hotel is connected to the Plaza of the Americas atrium that includes shops, eateries, salons and an ice skating rink. The Dallas Convention Center is eight blocks away. Within one mile of the hotel are the Kennedy Memorial, Reunion Arena and the Dallas Museum of Art. American Airlines Center, home of the NBA's Dallas Mavericks, is two miles away.
Hotel Features. The 650 North Restaurant is adjacent to the 650 North Bar. More than 28,000 square feet of meeting space features high speed wired and wireless Internet access for up to 1,000 attendees. The business center offers computer rentals and desktop publishing services. The hotel includes a fitness center with cardiovascular and weight training equipment, and complimentary workout programs and running maps. Upon request, backpacks filled with coloring books, treats and juice cups are available for younger guests.
Guestrooms. The 407 guestrooms at The Westin City Center feature Westin Heavenly Beds with pillowtop mattresses and down pillows. Separate sitting areas include desks with fax machines, video game consoles, high speed Internet access, and DVD and CD players. Rooms are equipped with refrigerators and coffeemakers with Starbucks coffee. Bathrooms offer makeup mirrors.
Expert Tip. The Pearl Street stop for the city's DART train is across the street from the hotel, offering access to the famed Arts District, the West End District and Dallas Fort Worth International Airport.
